.gy domains are registered through approved local and international registrars. These registrars handle registrations, renewals and management, set their own prices and may offer extra services such as hosting, website design and email.
Registrants shall not register or use domain names that infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties. The Registry reserves the right to suspend, cancel, transfer, or lock any domain name found to have been registered or used in bad faith, including cases of cybersquatting, trademark infringement, fraud, or other abusive conduct.
The .gy Registry adopts the principles of the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) established by ICANN. Registrants agree that disputes concerning domain names may be resolved through an approved dispute-resolution provider where the complainant demonstrates that the domain name is identical or confusingly similar to a trademark in which the complainant has rights, that the registrant lacks rights or legitimate interests in the domain name, and that the domain name was registered and is being used in bad faith.
If your domain was previously registered through GYNIC, you can continue renewing it as usual. For help, contact admin@registry.gy.
